CONFESSIONS OF A CHURCH GIRL

For a long time in my life, I lived so far beneath God’s will and plan for me. It wasn’t because that was what God wanted. It was because I didn’t think I deserved it.

I thought major blessings only came to “other” people. People who had done more than me. People who sacrificed more. People who lived better. Other people … not me.

Don’t ask me why I thought this way. I wasn’t even aware that I did until several years ago. 

Like many Church Girls I’d been taught that if God provided a person’s basic needs, only greed made them expect more. I was unconsciously pushing abundance away from me with this stinking thinking. 

It took waaayyyy too long for me to learn this, but I now know that I deserve God’s best. I now know that it is His will that we all prosper and be in health even as our souls prosper. Not because we’ve been perfect. Not because we’ve sacrificed the most or loved the hardest. 

We deserve it simply because we are His children. And like all doting fathers, God loves to give good gifts to His children! 

It often takes so long for believers to receive this because many of us weren’t taught that our lives are SUPPOSED to be filled with God’s abundance.

So I am here today to sound the alarm! I want you to understand that you truly are deserving of God’s absolute best …and that is abundant life. Once you digest this truth, you can finally receive it.

So if you haven’t already, I want to encourage you to decide to change your mind to match your heart’s desire. Because your heart’s desire is God’s desire for you too! 

If you desire a better job, a spouse or a better life, go after it. 

If your desire is to go to college, send in that application, and get ready to attend AND graduate with honors! 

If you want to get married, put yourself in the position to meet someone, spend the necessary time to get to know that person, and then plan for your happily ever after.

If you want a better job, fill out that application, say a prayer, go to the interview and work everyday to provide the value that only you can bring to that organization.

Go get your best life! Be purposeful about it. Plan it. Then, go get it. Go get that job! Go get your spouse! Go get your degree! Go open your business! Go write that book!

This is your life. Do everything necessary to make sure it is full of the things you enjoy.

I’m happy to say that I’m now beginning to walk in purpose and abundance in every area of my life.

Now, God’s using my voice so I can let everybody know that you can too.  I pray that you just believe it. Walk in it and everyday say to yourself...BECAUSE I AM A CHILD OF GOD, I AM WORTHY OF GREATNESS AND THE PROSPERITY GOD HAS FOR ME! AND TODAY I RECEIVE IT W
